New Products and Soft Launch - April 15

Hey all,

As I write this, I'm at home with the kids like a lot of you. It's given me a chance to work on things a lot more. This is good, right? Expect a lot more content in the future. Some of the things we're planning:

Handmade Cloth Items

So, yes, as someone with a sewing machine and spare time, I've also been sewing masks, but really, I'm not sure that these will end up on the website. Hey, you want some, let me know. Aside from that, we'll be looking at making available some staples in our lineup.

Player Wrist Guards - for guitar players. Years ago I picked up what I can only describe as a wrist corset for my left hand when I'm playing a lot of guitar, especially on stage. It acts a lot like what a compression stocking does for the feet, and puts a nice gentle tension on the tendons in your wrist. Most of all, it's stylish. It's less clunky then a leather wristband and doesn't get in the way, and it's better than using electrical tape. Especially if you have hairy arms.

Pit Crew Replicas - In a perfect world, there'd be a lot of awesome race-worn vintage pit crew items for a reasonable price on sale at any given time on ebay, especially of your favorite cars and drivers. But there isn't. That's okay, we can make replica items here of any of your favorite race teams, or even fictional items.

More Online Exclusive Content - Look for more cool designs to order right here online, without leaving your house, which is what we're all trying to do right now. Stay in your home. Shop. Save lives.

Hard Goods

Handmade Custom Guitars- What, wait, did I just say that? Why yes, yes I did. I was just having a discussion with a friend recently regarding prices of MIM Fenders and the difference between a Blacktop and a Blackout telecaster, and why even though they come out of the same factory, one is twice the price. The reality of the situation is, really good components aside, mid range guitars are completely overpriced for what they are. When you think about the price of a guitar compared to the median income of people all the way up to the early to mid 2000s, there were a lot of quality guitars from good manufacturers at reasonable prices. I feel like part of what caused the economic nosedive that the music products industry took was to do with ridiculous prestige pricing of some of the top brands. When an Epiphone reaches the price of a Gibson, and a Gibson reaches the price of a small car, and the Epiphone comes out of a factory in China as opposed to being made domestically, that's a bit confusing. Not that I'm going to sit here and trash the quality of Asian-pacific instruments. Some of the best guitars I have came out of South Korean factories. That being said, there are a lot of North American parts manufacturers that have really reasonably priced parts available that allow us to build and sell a guitar for around $500+ with the comparable quality to a $1000-$1500+ guitar - and this will be a lovingly made guitar with pretty decent components. I mean, I could also make a guitar that costs $2500 with the best components, but for most people who just want a quality guitar that plays well for every day use, most middle-of-the road models will suffice. Getting something that's handmade, though, means you're getting something custom and specifically made for your tonal application, and quality control will be so much better.

Used Land Rover Service Kits - Want to take the guess work out of owning a used Range Rover? You can't. Sorry. I'm just kidding about this one. You're on your own just like I am.

Anywho, keep watching the skiis for cool items that will be debuting throughout May.
